ABOUT HEATHER TAYLOR

Heather Taylor has spent more than fifteen years as a writer and editor.  Her work has been published in such publications as the Washington Post, Family Fun Magazine and Fodor’s Travel Guide to DC.   She’s also the author of the book, Where the Trains are! Wonderful North American Train Attractions for Kids of All Ages.

As an experienced broadcaster, Taylor hosted and produced weekly, hour long radio programs, The Heather Taylor Show, Boomer Radio in the Nation’s Capital and the current affairs show, American Odyssey, between 2005 and 2008. In January, 2009 she launched Money Matters and More (www.moneymattersandmore.com), an Internet site and radio show focused on entrepreneurship and careers.  Currently, she works as a freelance radio producer and contributes to public radio station WAMU-FM’s weekly radio magazine, Metro Connection. In addition, Taylor has served as an expert on Boomer lifestyle topics, as a guest on CBS affiliate WUSA Channel 9 and at ABC Affiliate News Channel 8, both in the Washington, DC region.
